Bonjour à tous,
j'ai mon oral d'anglais mardi sur les notions "mythes et héros' et 'espace et échange'.J'ai déjà fait ma fiche mythe et héros; pourriez vous m'aider s'il vous plaît ?
At first , I will briefly define the notion of myth and heroes :
Originally, a hero was a demigod : a mortal man gifted with superhuman powers . Today, a hero is a person, man or woman, who is characterized by his bravery, his mental and physical strength and is famous for his exploits and heroic actions. A hero can be the main character in a film, a story or a myth. It has many human qualities , he is generous , loyal, just , kind, brave. A hero can also be a famous person who is worshiped and glorified .
A myth is a wonderful story , located outside of historical time and featuring heroic characters . It is a fictional story , a legendary story with imaginary characters ( god, demigod ) or supernatural ( angels, demons , monsters ) and the presence of imaginary shares ( own powers , he can fly eg ) .
I chose , in connection with the concept of myths and heroes the following question : Why are they heroes important to society ?
On the one hand , Heroes make us dream with the myth they represent. For example, the Harry Potter character who embodies the dream of each of us to have magical powers enabling us to undertake and get all what you want with a simple wave of a magic wand!
On the other hand , Heroes are role models for men , because of their capabilities and commitment to society as firefighters, military or the character of Robin Hood who robs the rich to the poor and make the people their money taken to eliminate injustices.
A hero can be someone famous and continue to inspire people long after their death as Nelson Mandela we studied current , he was a great man who fought tooth and nail to reconciliation between blacks and whites , for this he was sentenced to 27 years imprisonment. Thereafter was a member of several associations fighting against poverty or AIDS which made him a legend and a hero to everyone.

A hero can be someone famous and who continues to inspire people long after their death such as Nelson Mandela whom we studied recently. He was a great man who fought tooth and nail to bring reconciliation between Blacks and Whites and what resulted is him being sentenced to 27 years imprisonment. Thereafter, he was elected as president of South Africa and he became a member of several associations fighting against poverty and AIDS which consequently made him a legend and a hero to everyone.
